1) Call to Order
There was a call to order at 2:03 PM

2. Approval of Minutes
Minutes were approved, if there are any changes they can be amended at later date.
3. Guest for November – None
Glenn will contact Kelly Scherado as a guest speaker, as Eric Gilliland was not able to attend.
4) Comments
- BOR quarterly recap:
- i) Regent Tarkanian passed creating a vacancy which the Board plans to fill. ii) UNR President Brian Sandoval and UNLV President Keith Whitfield partnered to fund a program to address mental health conditions.
iii) The December quarterly agenda has been posted with UNLV hosting. B.General updates
5) Old Business
- Faculty Senate Bylaws review and need updates: Please remember to review and update the Faculty Senate Bylaws, send any edits/changes to Glenn. Glenn will send the link so that members and view and edit.
- There were changes that were sent out just before the meeting for Chapter 2 Title 4 for grievances and the process of appeal: We may not have sufficient numbers for collective bargaining.
6) New Business
- Code Amendment for Appeal Process
- PEBP – nothing concrete, there are discussions on PEBP changes
- Open Forum
- i) There are currently several University/College Presidential searches being conducted which are keeping the Chancellor busy. ii) The meeting scheduled for October 29 did not take place but once everyone has a chance to review the bylaws we can include that in the next meeting.
