1) Call to Order
There was a call to order at 2:05 PM

2) Approval of Minutes – November/December
Minutes were tabled for the next meeting, if there are any changes they can be amended later.
3) Guest for January – None
4) Comments and Chair Reports A. BOR quarterly recap:
- i) Special meeting January 16-17: There was a talk of tracking the money in UNLV surplus ii) Glenn added a link for the Governor’s Budget for no COLA and an increase in retirement. Merit status is unknown but there will a push for COLA for state employees. This is a link for the Nevada Faculty Association NFA assessment.
5) Old Business
- Policy Proposal – CODE title 2, Chapter 6, Section 6.13.2
- i) No action taken. Not sure if we will proceed.
6) New Business
- Quarterly Meeting – March 6-7; No agenda
- Members have looked at Bylaws and are unsure what should be changed. It was explained that everyone should look at them like looking over a website and figuring out what looks out of place and what looks right. Please remember to review and update the Faculty Senate Bylaws, send any edits/changes to Glenn.
- Employees receive a retention incentive this fiscal year 2025 of $250.
- Marinn checked to see when we would receive our W-2s and it is set for the last week of January.
