About Us
(Daniel Clark/The Nevada Independent)
The NSHE System Administration Faculty Senate provides elected representation for the professional employees of the Chancellor’s Office and System Computing Services. The Senate reports directly to the Chancellor.
As advocates for employee welfare, senators help make policy decisions and make recommendations to the Chancellor. They are responsible for communicating with their constituents to provide information about the System, the Senate activities and for gathering staff opinions on current issues.
All employees are welcome at Senate meetings, which occur approximately eight times a year.
